Who Are We?
From three corners of India and across the United States, Sudhakar Karumuri of Texas (originally from Hyderabad), Dave Kapur of Texas (from New Delhi), and Trisha Roy of Florida (from Kolkata) came together with a shared vision—to establish the American Association of Indian Real Estate Professionals (AAIREP). Though they hail from regions as diverse as the states they now call home, they are united by the belief that education, ethics, collaboration, and leadership development are the cornerstones of professional excellence. Working in Texas and Florida—two of America’s most dynamic real estate markets and top destinations for international buyers—the trio recognized both the opportunities and the underrepresentation of Indian-origin professionals in real estate leadership. Together, they founded AAIREP to bridge cultural and professional gaps, foster unity among Indian-origin professionals across the Americas, and celebrate the shared heritage of integrity, entrepreneurship, and service that defines the Indian diaspora in global real estate

MEET OUR FOUNDERS
Sudhakar Karumuri
Sudhakar Karumuri (SK) is the Broker/Owner of Key Realty Austin and BEACON Property Management, with over 30 years of cross-industry experience spanning advertising, pharmaceuticals, electronics, IT, and real estate. A former IT project manager, SK has led and closed over 1,000 real estate transactions with an unwavering commitment to ethics, compliance, and mentorship.
He is one of the Founding Directors of AAIREP (American Association of Indian Real Estate Professionals), a national platform that connects and empowers Indian-origin real estate professionals across the Americas.
SK specializes in serving immigrant families and international clients with culturally sensitive, values-driven guidance. In 2024, he completed the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program (TRLP) and earned the CIPS designation to better serve global buyers and investors.
Beyond real estate, SK is a passionate community volunteer and animal advocate, dedicated to service that creates long-term impact
Trisha Roy
Trisha Roy is an international REALTOR®, educator, speaker, and sustainability specialist with two master’s degrees and extensive leadership experience across real estate, business development, and professional training. She is the Founder and Lead Instructor of Open Spaces International School of Real Estate—and teaches Realtors, business owners, and professional audiences throughout the U.S., Canada, and India, with core expertise in sustainability, cultural proficiency, and international real estate. A National Association of Realtors speaker, Gold Standard Instructor (GSI), Certified Business Mentor, and former President of SCORE North Central Florida, Trisha also serves in multiple leadership roles including REBI Florida Past Chapter President and Vice President-elect of the India Cultural and Education Center. Her academic background spans ecology, environmental science, and management, including published research and writing on sustainability and leadership, complemented by elite REALTOR® designations such as CIPS, CRS, CRB, and GREEN. Beyond real estate, she is a published author, community volunteer, certified mentor, and black belt in Shotokan karate, bringing a rare blend of analytical rigor, global perspective, and purpose-driven leadership to every aspect of her professional work.

Dave Kapur
Dave Kapur, MBA, MSE, Broker Associate with All City Real Estate, is an award-winning REALTOR®, accomplished broker, and founder of the American Association of Indian Real Estate Professionals (AAIREP), dedicated to advancing professionalism, representation, and community impact in real estate. Serving Central Texas and Greater Austin across residential, commercial, and investment sectors, Dave blends analytical rigor with empathy, drawing on a diverse background that includes manufacturing leadership, Fortune 500 consulting, and financial analytics. Educated in engineering and business, and holding multiple elite real estate designations, he is recognized for ethical excellence and service, including REALTOR® of the Year (2024) and Ethics Award (2021) from the Austin Board of REALTORS®, along with consistent Five Star Professional honors. Deeply community-minded, he supports initiatives such as Community First! Village and the Central Texas Food Bank, viewing real estate as a platform to restore dignity and create opportunity. Guided by the belief that success is measured not just in transactions but in hope built, Dave is widely respected as a strategic, compassionate professional who helps clients build both wealth and meaningful chapters of their lives.
